Specialization

The Specialization in Stop Motion Animation with a social emphasis, "Sueños en Movimiento" ("Dreams in Motion"), is an intensive training and production program in high-profile stop motion animation. Over a period of 5 months, students will cover 28 subjects grouped into the areas of conceptualization and development, pre-production, production, executive production, and post-production. This allows students to understand the entire process of stop motion animation from start to finish. The instructors are also specialists recognized for their experience and work in the national and international stop motion animation industry.

Residencies

The stop motion artistic residencies is a project developed in collaboration with the Casa del Autor in Zapopan and the International Animation Center "Taller del Chucho," with the support of Coecytjal. It focuses on 15 projects selected through a call for proposals to work on the development and conceptualization of their stories during a first phase. Based on the development of their scripts, animatics, and portfolios, they will be evaluated by a jury to select two finalist projects, which will move on to a second training phase focused on production, post-production, and executive production. Afterward, they will have 15 weeks to produce their short films at the Taller del Chucho.
